Week 11 Waiver Wire: Denarius Moore and More Players Worth Owning Again

Alex KayNov 15, 2011

Right now is the time to hit the waiver wire to get your claim in, as most leagues process their waivers early on Wednesday morning.

If you don’t get them in on time, you will miss an opportunity to snag one of these players who have been lighting it up lately and certainly worth of owning in a majority of leagues.

Take a look at some waiver wire players who will help your squad make the playoffs by putting up points these next few weeks.

Denarius Moore

Everyone picked up Moore in Week 2 after he went off for 146 yards and a touchdown on five catches against the Buffalo Bills.

He then decided to lay low and found his way back to waivers as owners got fed up with him.

He just broke out again with a monster five-catch performance that netted him 123 yards and two touchdowns.

It seems he and Carson Palmer have built a rapport, and you can count on Moore to have some solid performances to close the season.

Kendall Hunter

The 49ers backup RB finally scored for the first time since Week 3.

People have been high on him all year as Frank Gore keeps getting banged up, but somehow returns each week to punish defenses.

I think coach Jim Harbaugh is going to scale back Gore’s touches this week in order to keep him healthy for the 49ers' inevitable playoff run. He had six carries for zero yards this week before leaving with an injury.

Hunter should benefit from the increased touches and will put up more consistent fantasy points.

Bradford is in a sophomore slump, and his only chance to break out of it is during these next two weeks.

The Rams play the Cardinals and Seahawks in back-to-back weeks, and he should have some good performances.

I expect him to throw at least a few touchdowns and limit his turnovers in these games.
