Week 11 Fantasy Football Rankings: Ranking the 5 Best QBs

Zach KruseNov 15, 2011

Aaron Rodgers, Packers

The undisputed MVP of the NFL through two-and-a-half months has earned the right to be No. 1 on this list every single week, especially when a matchup as juicy as the Buccaneers come up on the schedule.

Tampa Bay is the No. 29 ranked fantasy defense against opposing quarterbacks in 2011. Projecting 275 yards and four scores would be more than enough for the top spot on this list, but that's just another day at the office for Rodgers.

Tom Brady, Patriots

After a brief hiatus, Brady makes a triumphant return to the top three after his dismantling of the New York Jets on Sunday night. Recording 329 yards and three scores is more like what we came to expect out of Brady after his hot start. This week, it's hard not to like Brady's matchup with the Chiefs. They've been torched by elite quarterbacks this season.

Eli Manning, Giants

At this point, it's safe to consider Manning a lock among quarterbacks with big points every week. In four of his last five games, Manning has thrown for 250 yards or more and two touchdowns. His matchup against an Eagles team that's pushed to the edge has some risks, but don't forget that this is the same defense that allowed 315 yards and three scores to John Skelton a week ago.

Carson Palmer, Raiders

The emergence of Palmer from a coach potato to a top-five fantasy quarterback this week has been a faster one than most imagined. But why not include him in the top five? Palmer is coming off a three-touchdown game against the Chargers, and he faces a Vikings defense this week that has given up its fair share of scores this season. In their last three games, the Vikings have allowed a whopping 10 touchdown passes.

Tony Romo, Cowboys

Despite the Redskins' fall from grace in 2011, the defensive side of the ball has remained solid against the pass. That might change Sunday, as a red-hot Tony Romo struts into Washington in Week 11. Romo has thrown for over 270 yards in back-to-back games and has five touchdown passes during that stretch. Expect the hot streak to continue this week.
