NFL Power Rankings Week 11: Freeze Advisory for League's Coldest Teams

Ryan PhillipsNov 15, 2011

The San Diego Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles just don't have it.

We're through 10 weeks of the 2011 NFL season and both teams have shown they have no chance to live up to their lofty preseason expectations.

The Chargers have lost four-straight winnable games and currently sit at 4-5.  Considering what was expected of them this season, their recent results are simply unacceptable.

San Diego has seemed to be just going through the motions this season, and head coach Norv Turner isn't helping things.

Quarterback Philip Rivers has been under near-constant pressure and that has led to his horrible stat line this season.  While Rivers is a fun target for people to poke at, the truth is, without him, the Chargers would be even worse.

Despite having 13 touchdowns against 15 interceptions, Rivers has made some huge plays to keep his team in games.

Right now the Chargers look like a team lost in the wilderness, and with the kind of bad streak they are on, it could take a while before things get turned around.

Don't count on them righting the ship any time soon.

Man, what can you say about the 3-6 Eagles that hasn't already been said?

They are soft, undisciplined, can't protect their quarterback, and even their vaunted secondary has looked weak recently.

It's a mess from top to bottom, and considering that the "Dream Team" was expected to compete for a playoff berth this season, it's been downright ridiculous.

After two-straight embarrassing losses, the Eagles now may be without $100 million quarterback Michael Vick, who broke two ribs against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Whether it's Vince Young, or an injured Vick under center, don't expect things to get any better for the Eagles.
