Michael Vick: 5 Most Insane Runs of His Career

Michael Vick has been up and down during his tenure with the Philadelphia Eagles.

He has put in hours to polish his passing skills. Consistency is still an issue with Vick, but he has put together some very impressive performances from within the pocket.

However, what makes Vick one of the most compelling players in football is still his ability to create with his legs.

Here are five of the most electrifying runs of Vick's professional career.

5. Eagles vs Rams

This wasn't Michael Vick's longest run, but it truly showcases his ability.

Vick gets pressure in the pocket, puts his hand on the ground, spins then takes off up the middle.

This run went for 17 yards, but it could have been quite a bit more if Vick hadn't lost his footing.

His supreme athleticism turned a sack into a significant gain.

4. Eagles vs Packers

This video is actually a compilation of highlights.

The Michael Vick run that I want to call your attention to comes at the 0:25 mark of the video. The run at the beginning of the video is a nice bonus, though.

This game was the beginning of Vick's resurgence. He stepped in for an injured Kevin Kolb and showed that he was as dangerous as ever.

3. Falcons vs Panthers

This carry from the 2002 season shows Michael Vick sprinting past the overmatched Carolina Panthers defense.

Unable to find a receiver, Vick still turned the play into a 45-yard score.

His incredible speed is on full display during this carry.

2. Falcons vs Saints

Coming in at  No. 2 is a Michael Vick run against the New Orleans Saints.

Vick was just too fast for the Saints' front seven.

Jason Craft gets just enough of Vick to force him out of bounds short of the end zone, but he still managed to gain about 50 yards.

1. Falcons vs Vikings

The No. 1 most insane run of Michael Vick's career came back in 2002.

Vick's Atlanta Falcons went to overtime against the Minnesota Vikings and Vick took over.

The dynamic quarterback broke off a game-winning 46-yard touchdown run to finish off the Vikings.

Vick totaled 173 yards on the ground that day, setting the new post-merger rushing mark for quarterbacks.
