NFL Power Rankings: Identifying the Biggest Offensive Juggernauts
The Green Bay Packers smoked the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football in Week 10 to take their record to 9-0. While the Packers have established themselves as the best team in all of football, they aren't the only first-place squad getting things done on the offensive side of the ball.
As Green Bay blew away the hapless Vikings on Monday, the team looked almost too good for words. Sure, they were facing a bad Minnesota team, but the Packers were just simply relentless on offense.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was his usual maddeningly efficient self, completing 23-of-30 passes for 250 yards, with four touchdowns and no interceptions. Frankly for Rodgers, that was a ho-hum effort.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ten different receivers caught the ball for the Packers, and whether it was fullback John Kuhn or third wide receiver Jordy Nelson, they all looked dangerous. Is there any target on that offense that can't score once the ball is in his hands?
After last night's 45-7 beat-down, the Packers are averaging an NFL-best 35.6 points per game. That is ridiculous and until an opponent proves they can stop Rodgers and company, don't expect anything to change.
Like the Packers, Drew Brees and his New Orleans Saints have become known for their offense over the past few seasons. The 32-year-old quarterback has his team sitting at 7-3 and in first place in the NFC South as we head toward Week 11.
The Saints currently lead the NFL in total yards, averaging 436.9 per game, and have the league's second-best passing attack, throwing for 319.4 yards per game. New Orleans is also only behind the Packers in points per game, averaging 31.3.
Everything the Saints do offensively involves Brees. The Purdue product has been excellent this season despite a few rocky patches. Brees has completed 299-of-422 passes (70.9 percent) for 3,326 yards, with 23 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. His quarterback rating of 101.3 is third-best in the NFL.
Like the Packers, the Saints will win because of their offense and it is incredibly difficult to stop. Brees and Rodgers are both operating at such a high level that it is hard to see either of them falling off this season.
I expect both teams to continue their winning ways thanks to their prolific offenses.
