WWE Survivor Series 2011: Mick Foley Must Factor in John Cena & The Rock's Match

If there is one thing that wrestling fans love, it’s when an old popular wrestler comes back from a long hiatus.  

Don’t believe me, just go back and watch last year’s WrestleMania or Survivor Series this year, and listen for the reaction that The Rock receives. It’s deafening when “The Great One” comes through the curtain and onto the stage. People love the fact that they can be transported back into their early adult or teenage years when Rock ruled the wrestling scene.  

So when rumors started to run wild that Mick Foley was coming back, it got people on the Internet buzzing.  

There were questions that started to creep into wrestling fans heads like. Would Foley team up with The Rock again? Could Foley be added in as the third person in The Rock and John Cena’s match?  

And most importantly, could we see a reunion of the Rock n’ Sock Connection?  

Any one of those possibilities would have the wrestling world buzzing. Seeing Foley come back to get involved in Survivor Series would be what people remember from the pay-per-view.  

Just think about the possibility right now. Rock and Cena are in the midst of their Survivor Series match against R-Truth and The Miz. The fight is reaching it’s peak, as both Rock and Cena hit “The People’s Elbow” and “The Five-Knuckle Shuffle” at the same time on Miz.  

Then as Cena is about to pin Miz, Rock pulls Cena off and takes the pin fall himself. Rock’s music hits, his hand is raised and all is well. He goes to high-five Cena, when Cena hits the “Attitude Adjustment” on Rock to the crowd’s shock.  

I know right, heel Cena?  

Cena goes to grab a chair to start wailing on The Rock’s lifeless body in the ring. When out of nowhere in comes Foley to chase off Cena. Foley and Rock share a hug in the middle of the ring, as Survivor Series comes to a close.  

Now, you have the potential of Cena finally turning heel. Foley is now thrown into this epic build to WrestleMania. And we get the chance of Foley throwing another Rock “This is your life” segment on RAW.  

Foley is back with the WWE and he needs to get involved in their Main Event. It’s going to be great for business while making the build to WrestleMania even bigger.
