Week 11 Waiver Wire: Dexter McCluster and Others You Must Add
This is the final week that teams will be on the bye, and with a number of fantasy starters needing to sit on your bench in Week 11, the waiver wire is your best source to find a solid replacement. It's also good for stockpiling insurance as the playoffs rapidly approach.
Here are two players with high value on the waiver wire this week.
RB Dexter McCluster, Kansas City Chiefs (at New England Patriots)

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Dexter McCluster isn't a completely reliable player and he's part of the Chiefs' unreliable offense, but with quarterback Matt Cassel suffering from a hand injury that will require surgery that may end his season, McCluster may be the team's best bet to get anything going on the ground or in the air.
McCluster had eight rushes for 45 yards and six catches for 48 yards in his team's loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 10, and has 291 rushing yards and 143 receiving yards on the season. With Tyler Palko under center, look for the hybrid player's snap count to increase, and with that, his yardage.
Though McCluster doesn't have any scores on the year, the matchup against the New England Patriots (who showed a tougher defense against the New York Jets in Week 10, but may not hold up week to week) does benefit him. If you're in a PPR league and missing a player due to injury or the bye week, McCluster is worth an add.
WR Laurent Robinson, Dallas Cowboys (at Washington Redskins)
Cowboys receiver Laurent Robinson was the top waiver wire prospect for Week 10, but he's just 49 percent owned in Yahoo! leagues, which means he still may be available to you. If that is the case, add him immediately and make him a starter, especially in three-receiver leagues.
Robinson caught three passes for 73 yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys' 44-7 win over the Buffalo Bills and he has 208 total yards and four scores in his last three games while he fills in for the injured Miles Austin.
With Austin not scheduled to return until December and the Redskins failing to stop either the run or the pass, it should be a big offensive outing for the Cowboys and thus Robinson this week. By Sunday, he should be much closer to 80 or 90 percent owned, so grab him while you have the chance.
Whatever you choose to do on the waiver wire this week, don't forget about the Thursday night contest between the New York Jets and Denver Broncos. Make your claims and set your rosters with that in mind; there's nothing worse than being a fantasy GM caught off guard on a Friday morning after you accidentally left a player on the bench who you meant to start.
