WWE Survivor Series 2006: Top 5 Moments from the Show
I really enjoyed WWE Survivor Series 2006. It had something for everybody, and it was a wonderful "wrestling" night. SmackDown really outshone Raw on this night, in my opinion!
Of course, I will not be discussing the United States Championship match, so save the questions! Other than that, this was a great show and well worth the price of PPV. Without any more stalling, let's get to my five most memorable moments...

5. Kennedy Beats Undertaker
1 of 5You remember that guy, right? Mr. Kennedy? The guy chewed gum and walked like he was always angry? The man currently in an Orlando sound stage performing in front of 1,000 non-paying tourists? Yeah, he beat Undertaker a few times in 2006.
This was one of those times—thanks to a little help from MVP, of course!
Kane, MVP, Kennedy and 'Taker had a great series of battles, and this was perhaps their best.
4. Lita's Final WWE Match
2 of 5Lita was defending the Women's title against Mickie James. We already knew Lita was leaving, but it really hit home when the final pinfall was counted.
Lita lost, and she was done. Of course, the fun did not stop there, as WWE decided to humiliate her on the way out—going the complete opposite direction of Trish Stratus months earlier.
I am still torn on the situation. She was a heel, but she was also a big part of the division for years.
In the end, it was a great match and a nice farewell.
3. Team DX Sweeps Team Rated RKO
3 of 5I loved this. Triple H and Shawn Michaels just destroyed everyone here. It was the payoff to the feud, so the faces should win. They did just that here.
I loved everyone's involvement, including Edge and Randy Orton taking the losses. As history shows, the losses did no harm to their legacies, and both men have had Hall of Fame careers.
It also ended Orton's run at Survivor Series events. Just a fun match from beginning to end!
2. CM Punk Gets Noticed
4 of 5Triple H and Shawn Michaels came out as "DX" for their usual entrance. The Hardy Boys and CM Punk were also on the team.
Taking place in Philadelphia, the crowd was known to be a little "smarky." Of course, with introductions all set, who did the crowd decide to cheer for? Who did the audience chant for?
Triple H? Shawn Michaels? Hardys? Nope! CM Punk! It was on this night he was officially "noticed." The rest is history...
1. Batista Wins the World Title
5 of 5King Booker was on fire. Batista was officially back from injury. These two feuding had been a mess. The story was not clicking, and their matches were not very good.
On this night, it was all on the line. Batista had "one more chance" to win back HIS World Title from Booker T. Well, Batista came through big time here. He and Booker had a great match, and the payoff was amazing.
Batista won back the World title he never lost, and King Booker's run at the top was over. Nice main event to finally put a close to a lackluster feud but with a top notch ending!
