Week 11 Waiver Wire Pickups: Young Playmakers for Cowboys Hold Massive Value
The Dallas Cowboys are suddenly churning out fantasy studs faster than Jerry Jones can cash a check.
RB DeMarco Murrary started the season as a rookie third-stringer that was plagued by injuries in college.
A Felix Jones injury and a costly fumble of Tashard Choice later and Murray was vaulted into action, whether he was ready or not.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He was ready.
Murray has averaged 8.0 yards per carry and 150.3 rushing yards per game the past four weeks. He has also caught 10 passes in the last two weeks. He is as versatile as it gets for a featured back. His impressive combination of speed and size has allowed him to plow linebackers over while outrunning safeties in the open field.
At this point it doesn't matter when Jones comes back. Murray is the starter, and will be getting at least 75-to-80 percent of the carries for the rest of the season.
I'm sure he is already owned in your league, if not...pick him up immediately. If you are the proud owner of Murray, don't think about cutting him anytime soon.
WR Laurent Robinson is also somebody that must be picked up.
Robinson is another Cowboy that is benefiting from injury, he has totaled 13 catches on 18 targets for 238 yards in the three games Miles Austin has missed this season, two of those starts.
Austin is still nursing a hamstring injury that will keep him out for another 2-3 weeks. After his two TD, 73 yard performance against the Bills on Sunday, he was vaulted up to must-start status.
Should your drop him when Austin comes back? I wouldn't suggest it.
In Week 8, with a healthy Austin, Robinson still had over 100 yards and a whopping eight targets. This guy is gaining the trust of Tony Romo and fantasy players looking for a receiver should be licking their chops.
With a slew of bad defenses still on the slate (Redskins, Cardinals, Buccaneers, Miami), these young Cowboys are worth holding onto for the remainder of the season. There are going to be a ton of great opportunities to rake in the fantasy points during your league's playoffs.
After a slow start...the Cowboys are quietly becoming one of the most exciting teams in the league. They can thank Murray and Robinson for that.
