Larry Fitzgerald Video: Watch Fitz's Record-Setting and Game-Tying TD

Nicholas GossNov 13, 2011

Larry Fitzgerald broke the Arizona Cardinals team record for touchdown catches on Sunday with a great fourth-quarter touchdown reception, the 70th of his career.

Fitzgerald scored the touchdown and did not perform a big celebration because to him football is all business, and that is why he is hands down the best wide receiver in the NFL.

Nick Fierro, who is a Philadelphia Eagles beat writer for the Allentown Morning Call, tweeted the following about Fitzgerald's touchdown.

"

Larry Fitzgerald is all class. Breaks the franchise record for TDs and just flicks the ball toward the ref. No showboating. Class act.

"

Fitzgerald was able to tip the pass from Cardinals quarterback John Skelton into the air and catch it, then proceed to run into the end zone for the touchdown.

Fitzgerald displayed unbelievable hand-eye coordination on the play, catching the ball off a tip with Eagles defenders around him.

It was Fitzgerald's second touchdown of the day, he caught a 10-yard touchdown in the second quarter. The Cardinals went on to win the game 21-17 to pull off a stunning upset.

Fitzgerald had 38 catches for 646 receiving yards and three touchdowns coming into Week 10 versus the Eagles.

Fitzgerald finished the game with seven receptions for 146 yards and two touchdowns.

Fitzgerald continues to put up good numbers despite playing with mediocre quarterbacks for much of his professional career.

After signing a massive eight-year, $120 million contract back in August, Fitzgerald will certainly add to his touchdown catch record in the future.
