Manny Pacquiao: Why Floyd Mayweather Would Destroy Pac-Man
Floyd Mayweather had to be watching the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez fight with a little grin on his face. If that fight accomplished anything it only gave Mayweather more confidence that he can defeat Pacquiao. If the two were to ever tangle inside the ring, Mayweather would destroy Pacquiao to remain undefeated.
Pacquiao was flat-out unimpressive in his majority decision victory. He even had the experts wondering if he was going to get upset.
Pac-Man struggled against Marquez, a fighter that Mayweather not only defeated in a unanimous decision but knocked down in 2009. Pac-Man never even threatened to knock Marquez down on Saturday night.
Pacquiao lost five rounds in the fight, and there were moments when Pacquiao didn’t have an answer for Marquez’s strategy. Marquez went into his shell in the later rounds, allowing Pacquiao to win the last four rounds and ultimately the fight.
Pacquiao would have lost if he was put in that situation by Mayweather.
Mayweather is undefeated in his career for a reason, he’s that good. There is a reason why Pac-Man has a few blemishes on his record, he can be defeated.
If Mayweather and Pacquiao were to ever link up in the future, Mayweather would and should be the favorite to win the fight. He has earned that right.
Pacquiao isn’t on the same level as Mayweather until he proves it. To be the best you got to beat the best. Mayweather has never lost therefore he is the best in the business.
There is a reason why Mayweather has never been defeated. If he ever gets a chance to fight Pacquiao he will prove exactly why.
