Week 10 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Owen Daniels and TEs Primed for Big Games
With the end of the bye weeks, most fantasy teams probably aren’t carrying a second tight end. For those with the luxury to choose, these three look to be great starting options in Week 10:
Owen Daniels, Houston Texans
A major beneficiary of Andre Johnson’s never-ending hamstring injury, Owen Daniels will continue being a primary target for Matt Schaub this week. Against an iffy Tampa defense (No. 28 in the league against the pass), Schaub and Daniels should both have their share of opportunities.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Bucs have particularly struggled to cover opposing TEs, allowing the league’s second-most fantasy points to them over the last five weeks. Look for Daniels to add to his total of three receiving TDs this season.
Brandon Pettigrew, Detroit Lions
Pettigrew has been surprisingly effective as a fantasy TE this season, and stands a good chance of improving on that performance on Sunday. The Bears have given up an average of seven receptions a contest to opposing TEs over the last month.
The absence of injured RB Jahvid Best will again leave Matthew Stafford in a position of having to win the game through the air or not at all. Calvin Johnson will get the best of the numbers, as usual, but there should be enough left over for Pettigrew to have a big day.
Brent Celek, Philadelphia Eagles
Celek ate up the Bears defense last week, and draws another promising matchup against a Cardinal team that’s struggled to cover anybody (to the tune of a No. 29 ranking against the pass). There should be plenty of passes to go around in this one, and Celek is obviously a player Michael Vick is targeting right now.
Another edge for Celek is that if the game turns into a blowout—as it may well do—he could still get a few catches on third-down conversions. He’s as good a possession receiver as Philly has, and might be able to steal a few grabs after DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin have been essentially phased out.
