Pacquiao vs. Marquez Predictions: Pac-Man Will KO Marquez in Lengthy Bout

Nicholas GossNov 12, 2011

Manny Pacquiao will defeat Juan Manuel Marquez by knockout after the 10th round in Saturday night's highly anticipated fight from Las Vegas.

Marquez has added some good strength for this fight and has trained well, but he doesn't have the power and ferocity to beat Pacquiao over a lengthy bout.

The last time these two fighters met was in 2008, and since then Pacquiao has become the elite fighter on the planet.

Pacquiao has been a knockout master since beating Marquez in 2008, knocking out all four of his opponents since that second Marquez fight.

Pac-Man has been a dominating force the last few years and that will continue on Saturday night.

Pacquiao has the speed and quickness to take down Marquez, and will be eager to show he is fully ready for a long awaited bout with Floyd Mayweather some time next year.

The footwork and defense of Pacquiao will be key to his victory Saturday night. Pac-Man's quick feet and good defensive posture will be a good counter to Marquez's strength.

Being able to withstand an early fury by Marquez and at the same time counter the Mexican and punish his mistakes will be crucial for Pacquiao in the early rounds.

Pac-Man will show Marquez from the start that he will not be stopped, and a dominant display after the opening bell will lessen the high amount of confidence Marquez will bring into this fight.

Manny Pacquiao will defeat Juan Manuel Marquez by knockout on Saturday night, continuing his dominance in the welterweight division.

Marquez's strength and endurance will help him last to at least the 10th round, but Pacquiao's skill and determination will be too much for the Mexican in the end.
