Week 10 Start 'Em Sit 'Em: Mark Sanchez and Quarterbacks Who Will Be Lights Out

Phil GNov 11, 2011

Week 10 of the NFL season has arrived and it's time to shift focus to the beloved quarterbacks we both endear and repulse on a weekly basis.

Mark Sanchez headlines such a list, along with several other quarterbacks on this list, but this week may be an exception.

Who to start? Here is the fantasy update, QB edition.

Aaron Rodgers

1 of 5

vs. Minnesota Vikings

The expected MVP is a must start every week. Mr. Rodgers will face a Minnesota Vikings defense that is ranked 30th against the pass.

Michael Vick

2 of 5

vs. Arizona Cardinals

Michael Vick will face a Cardinals defense that is ranked 29th against the pass. The Eagles are coming off a disappointing loss to the Chicago Bears and will be ready to pounce on a shaky Cardinals secondary.

Expect Vick to have a great performance both in the air and on the ground.

Matt Schaub

3 of 5

vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Houston Texans featured the running game last week against Cleveland, but expect the opposite this week against a shaky Bucs secondary. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are ranked 28th against the pass.

Matt Cassel

4 of 5

vs. Denver Broncos

After a disappointing performance against the Miami Dolphins last week, I expect Matt Cassel to bounce back against an awful Broncos secondary.

The Broncos are ranked 23rd against the pass but they are susceptible to giving up big plays. Expect Cassel to hook up with Dwayne Bowe for a few scores.

Mark Sanchez

5 of 5

vs. New England Patriots

Mark Sanchez will face a lowly Patriots secondary and is in line for a big day. The Jets will continue to pound the rock but expect Sanchez to have one of his better performances.
