Shawn Michaels: To Heel or Not to Heel?

Shawn Michaels is broke?! Oh, no! But seriously, who isn't after what the Texas Moron and his White House playmates have done to the United States and its economy?

Let's get started, shall we?

Shawn Michaels made it known at Armageddon that he his broke. He has no scrilla, no loot, no paper. He's broke as a joke! (None of this is funny, by the way.)

So who reached out their hand in his most desperate time of need? Anyone? Surprisingly, John "Bradshaw" Layfield did.

Power. It's one of the thing that JBL loves, along with money, and he knows that HBK needs help and that he has power over him; because Shawn is a family man, he'll do what he has to do for his family.

Now here's the real deal behind this storyline: From what I've heard, this is based on the character that Mickey Rourke portrays in the movie The Wrestler. Rourke plays a wrestler who is getting old and struggling financially. Sound familiar?

I think it's a damn shame that WWE's creative team was too damn lazy to come up with something original for Shawn, instead taking something from a movie. And I hope this storyline isn't suppose to cultivate into a Shawn Michaels/JBL WrestleMania match, because thats just disrespectful to Shawn Michaels for him to have to wrestle JBL at the Granddaddy of them all.

So does this make Shawn a heel now? I don't think so. I think he'll just be walking around with his head down low because he works for JBL. I guess that old saying is true, "Money is power."

Not as original, but should be interesting. Let's see where this goes.
