NFL Week 10 Picks: Low Scoring Games Sure to Make Scorekeepers Bored
Fantasy owners can rejoice a little this week. There isn't a single team on a bye this week.
Unfortunately, there are several matchups between two good defensive teams, two bad offensive teams or some combination of the two.
That certainly doesn't suggest that a lot of big fantasy numbers will be put up, at least in these games.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals
This one falls into the category of two very good defensive teams going toe-to-toe.
I do expect a few big plays to occur in this game but as a general rule, defenses will dominate the action.
Both of these defensive units have been playing very well this year. Look for that to continue vs. each other.
St. Louis Rams vs. Cleveland Browns
Steven Jackson vs. Josh Cribbs. That's basically what this game boils down to. Against even an average offense, I would have a problem seeing the Rams allowing fewer than 24 points.
But the Browns offense is well below average. The Rams are no better, and they are going against a good defensive unit. Don't expect a lot of points in this one.
New York Giants vs. San Francisco Giants
Both of these teams have good play makers on offense, but I am looking at the Giants pass rush and the 49ers run defense to completely dominate the action.
The Giants will need to rely on a big play or two, while the 49ers will need to sustain some drives. I just don't expect either team to do a lot of that.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts
I am not sure that either of these offenses would put up more than 20 points if they were unopposed. There is just no reason to believe that either of these teams will do much.
Now, the Jaguars defense is also strong, which will make the difference. Their offense will find a way to put up the necessary points and pull it out. But one way or the other, it will be low scoring.
Washington Redskins vs. Miami Dolphins
Despite the Dolphins 31-point explosion in Week 9, their offense gives me nothing and nobody to believe in. That's been the case with the Redskins all season.
Defensively, these two teams are actually decent, despite their records. Don't expect much more than a few combined scores in this one.
Predictions:
Steelers 17, Bengals 13
Browns 14, Rams 10
49ers 16, Giants 13
Jaguars 14, Colts 10
Redskins 16, Dolphins 7
