WWE News: WWE Agents Reportedly Upset with the Push of Mason Ryan

You may have noticed that one of the most jacked up wrestlers in WWE history has been getting a pretty decent push as of late. 

His name is Mason Ryan. 

After debuting as part of CM Punk’s new Nexus in January 2011, Ryan was eventually written off of TV and was gone for a while before returning to Monday Night Raw as a baby face a couple of months ago. 

Ryan is now getting a decent run as a mid-carder, and I’m sure he’s happy about it. But not everyone in the WWE is. 

From the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via SEScoops.com):

A few agents in WWE are grumbling about the push of Mason Ryan.

I don’t think it takes a genius to figure out the No. 1 reason why the WWE’s agent aren’t exactly thrilled about Ryan being pushed: As they say in the wrestling world, "he’s as green as goose s**t."

While every wrestler is green at some point, Ryan takes it to a whole new level. He’s greener than Kermit the Frog and has shown little to no improvement since being called up to the main roster. 

We’ve seen big guys who are worse than Ryan—Jackson Andrews, anyone?—but just watching Ryan for a few minutes in the ring makes you realize that he has trouble doing the simplest of things, like properly executing moves or selling them. 

I’m not sure his greenness is the only reason the WWE agents have a gripe with his push, though. They probably aren’t all that excited about a guy with Ryan’s size and chiseled physique getting that type of push when there has been a recent surge in WWE Wellness Policy suspensions. 

I mean, Evan Bourne and a couple of other guys are getting suspended for violating the policy, but someone like Ryan isn’t? 

I smell some funny business going on here.
