NFL Week 10 Picks: Projecting Which Top QBs Will Lead Teams to a Win

Chris TrapassoNov 10, 2011

Top quarterbacks sometimes have to single-handedly win a game for their team. We've seen a passing renaissance this season as the guys behind center have become more important than ever.

In Week 10, these signal callers will be the main reason their team's emerge victorious.

Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers is a top quarterback. He is the top quarterback on Planet Earth. His Packers host the division rival Vikings who gave them a test on the road in Minnesota a few weeks ago.

That won't matter inside Lambeau.

Rodgers and his ultra talented receiving corp will once again shred the Vikings' secondary.

Even if Adrian Peterson runs wild again, (175 yards in their last meeting) and he's been known to do that from time to time, the Packers offense is simply operating far too efficiently right now for Christian Ponder and Co. to keep up.

Vick's game against the Bears on Monday Night left more to be desired for many of us.

The Eagles had won two straight and seemingly had turned the corner. Then, another fourth quarter collapse. Not as bad as ones we have seen in the past, but they blew a lead in the final quarter nonetheless.

The Cardinals are much less threatening than the Bears, on both sides of the football.

LeSean McCoy will have a typical 100-plus yard performance, but this is a game in which I think Vick returns to 2010 form and finds his speedy receivers down the field.

This is a must-win game for the Eagles and Vick gets it done at home against a weaker opponent.

Still a long trek ahead.

I never expected this game to mean this much when I saw it on the schedule months ago. Both teams have great, pressuring defenses that confuse quarterbacks while stopping the run with regularity.

Andy Dalton is giving Cam Newton a run for his money in the Offensive Rookie of the Year race.

At this point in his career, I'm giving the edge to Big Ben on the road in this divisional showdown. He's playing very consistent football in crunch time, and even if the Steelers are down, I have faith that he can lead his team down the field for the go-ahead score.

There has been a changing of the guard at receiver this year, but Antonio Brown's athletic ability and speed are invaluable at this point in the season and Hines Ward is injured.

Roethlisberger makes more plays than Dalton and Pittsburgh leaves Cincinnati with a critical victory.
