Pacquiao vs Marquez: Why Marquez Won't Be as Tough in Third Bout with Pac-Man

Juan Manuel Marquez is the only fighter in recent history that has given Manny Pacquiao any trouble.

During their first fight, Marquez and Pacquiao drew. In their second bout, Pac-Man came out on top, but it was still a split decision.

Unfortunately for Dinamita, the third time around isn't going to be quite as pretty.

If Manny Pacquiao wants to continue his boxing career after this fight, he will want to do it with Floyd Mayweather. If he doesn't win this fight, there's a good chance he won't get a shot with "Money."

Put two and two together, and that means Pacquiao can't afford to lose this fight if he wants to legitimately keep boxing after this.

Pac-Man has proven himself to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world and two things should remain on his list.

One is a definite win over Marquez and the other is a win over Mayweather, who is currently undefeated and just knocked off Victor Ortiz. 

Put all those things together and we're going to have a determined Manny Pacquiao on our hands. He's going to come out a flurry and go for the knockout with an array of punches.

Throw in the fact that these two are fighting at a heavier weight, and that means Pacquiao is stronger and even more likely to hit Marquez with a knock-out blow.

What's even more, Juan Manuel Marquez is now 38. He's arguably on his way down and will have a tough time keeping up with Pacquiao's quick feet.

Pac-Man is quick as ever, stronger and heavier than usual, more determined than the first two fights and as a result will have it much easier this time around with the older Marquez.
