I know that Daff won't like this, but I'll get right to the point.

WrestlingINC.com put up a story about Christian:

At tonight's Smackdown event in Brussels, Belgium, Christian appeared to have injured his knee during a match with Sheamus.

About four or five minutes into their match, Sheamus threw Christian into the ropes. As Christian came off the ropes, he attempted to slide under Sheamus' legs and instantly grabbed his knee. When he tried to get up, he limped. As the referee came to check on him, it was apparent that he was hurt. The referee said something to Sheamus, who proceeded to quickly hit Christian with the Brogue kick to end the match.

After the match, the referee gave the X sign as Christian rolled out of the ring. The referee and a member of security helped him to the back. It appeared to be Christian's right knee or ankle that was injured, and it looked pretty serious.

If this is true, this is a serious blow for both SmackDown and Christian.

Christian has been a tremendously reliable upper-card talent for the brand for a while now. After returning from a torn pectoral muscle, he had some strong feuds with Orton and Sheamus. Needless to say, he has been featured heavily on the Blue brand.

Christian was scheduled for Survivor Series as part of "Team Barrett" against Team Orton in the usual tag elimination match that happens at the pay-per-view.

I've been unable to find more information on Christian's condition. Keep it here for updates as soon as more information becomes available.

Update: 12:54 pm MST  SEScoops.com is reporting that Christian was sent home from the tour.  The post notes that it's believed he either sprained or broke his ankle.  Let's hope it's the former, if it must be something.
