WWE: Wrestling Just Got a Little More Interesting Within the Divas Division

Let's see. Beth Phoenix removed her "boyfriend" from her Twitter account amid rumors he was striking up an old flame with former girlfriend Lita.

Lita, who was seen at a WWE event last week, was rumored to be cozying up to Punk, making Phoenix mad or "jealous."

Lita was also rumored to be wanting to come back to the WWE after a more than a five-year absence and all of this was reported within the last few days.

Now, add to this that Chyna may want to come back to the WWE after making her last wrestling appearance in TNA and then doing "porn" AGAIN.

Michelle McCool may be returning to the WWE after there was a comment made that the Undertaker, her husband, may be coming back to the WWE sooner than expected.

And, while all this is going on, we are still waiting for Kharma and Layla to make their return to the ring after extended absences.

Yes, the WWE divas division just got a little more exciting.

I hope everyone has caught their breath, because that was a long ride to get through. It does speak volumes of how rumor and innuendo have made the idea of a "real" Divas Division a strong possibility. And this, like Diamond Dallas Page would say, is a "good" thing.

We have been waiting for this to happen, for women's wrestling to matter again (sorry, TNA for stealing your slogan). While TNA has been kicking the Divas Division in the ass for some time now, the Knockouts in TNA are undergoing a makeover of sorts in an effort to spruce up their talent before the end of the year.

Oh, how I love the holiday season.

This can only mean great things for the WWE. If (and that is a big "if") these women all return to the ring and perform between now and next year, the Divas will be fine in the WWE.

And we, the fans, will be rewarded with "wrestling" instead of this dancing around in the ring where there are only four or five viable women (maybe six) who are competing right now. We want to see Kharma and Chyna wrestle, maybe together against Natalya and Beth Phoenix. We want to see Lita and Natayla battle it out.

We want to see Michelle McCool in the ring, maybe as a tag-team partner of Kelly Kelly?

I see Eve turning on Kelly Kelly in the near future.

But the speculation is doing something that hasn't been done in a while; it is making us talk and discuss the women in the WWE like they count for something.

If we include Alicia Fox and the Bella Twins, AJ and Tamina in the mix and Aksana then the WWE has a group they can work with, develop and figure out what to do with when it comes to matches, rivalries, stables and maybe tag-team titles.

The possibilities become endless and that is music to any creative team's ears.
