NFL Power Rankings: Sneaky Teams That Will Slip into Playoffs
Every year a few teams make a late surge in the back half of the season and surprisingly make the postseason.
This year will be no different and I bet that at least one of these teams, who are on the relatively lower rungs of the power rankings ladder, will go on a late run and make the playoffs.
Let’s take a look at them and why they have a shot.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Denver Broncos
This is a long shot, but Tim Tebow has his Broncos just one game out of first place in the up-for-grabs AFC West.
The Raiders, Chargers and Chiefs are all just 4-4 while the Broncos are 3-5. They beat the Raiders last week and have a chance to knock the Chiefs out on Sunday.
That would put them in a great position to make a run at the Chargers and continue their ascent up the AFC West rankings.
Only one team from this strangely bad conference is going to make the playoffs this year and the Broncos have just a good a shot as anyone.
Chicago Bears
The Bears got a solid win on Monday Night Football over the Eagles and put themselves back in contention in the highly competitive NFC North.
While the Packers are more than likely going to run away with the division, either the Bears or Lions will also make the postseason from the division as well.
I think the Bears have a chance to overtake the Lions and make it back to the playoffs as a complete surprise once again this season.
Philadelphia Eagles
The NFC East is easily the most unpredictable conference. The Giants pulled off a surprise upset against the Patriots last week, but could possibly drop their next five games, all against tough opponents.
The Eagles didn’t help themselves by losing on Monday night, but could go on a tear and squeak past Dallas and New York to win the East late in the season.
