Week 10 Waiver Wire: Maurice Morris and Others You Must Add
The waiver wire is my closest friend during fantasy football season, and it should be yours, too.
Ideally, you've already made a number of transactions this year, some panning out better than others, but there's still ample time to find that missing piece or upgrade that will turn you into a playoff contender.
Here are three that could serve that purpose for Week 10 and beyond, depending on your needs.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
RB Maurice Morris, Detroit Lions (at Chicago Bears)
With starting Lions running back Jahvid Best still uncertain for Weeks 10 and beyond, his No. 1 replacement is Maurice Morris, despite the team re-signing Kevin Smith on Monday.
The Lions have little depth at the position, and while Smith will likely see five, perhaps 10 carries a game, it won't be a committee approach for Detroit while Best recovers from his concussion.
That leave Morris as the team's starter, and he's certainly capable of taking on a heavy workload and being productive for both the Lions and your fantasy roster. He has 31 rushes on the year, for 128 yards and one touchdown, which he scored in Week 8 when he racked up 58 yards on 13 carries.
Morris can be counted on for 60 to 80 yards per game with a rushing touchdown, which makes him instantly useful for anyone looking for a little boost at the position, anyone who needs an injury replacement or for owners gearing up for the Week 11 bye.
QB Carson Palmer, Oakland Raiders (at San Diego Chargers)
Carson Palmer has a short week ahead of him, with his team taking on the San Diego Chargers in the year's first Thursday night game. However, it's clear that one can pass on the Chargers defense, and Palmer showed just enough in the Raiders' Week 9 loss to the Denver Broncos to prove that he's worth an add, if not a start, for your fantasy team.
Granted, it's one desperate fantasy GM who would start Palmer, but if you need an upgrade at QB2 headed into the stretch (perhaps you've got Colt McCoy on your bench, for example), then Palmer's a great choice.
His three interceptions against the Broncos were augmented by three touchdown passes, and the fact that the team was confident enough in him to allow him to throw 35 times (for 332 yards) to nine different receivers (with eight catching his passes) only bodes well for his future production once he shakes off the inevitable rust.
Palmer's interception numbers should decline with time, and with so many talented and fast receivers at his disposal (not to mention his best friend and familiar target T.J. Houshmandzadeh also on the roster), Palmer's QB2 stock is, in fact, rising.
WR Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers (at Cincinnati Bengals)
If you're in one of the 32 percent of leagues (Yahoo! leagues being the source of said stat) where Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown isn't owned, stop reading right now and put in the waiver claim immediately, because this is your very last chance to grab the breakout talent.
Brown has gotten a number of chances in the past two weeks due to injuries to wide receivers Hines Ward and Emmanuel Sanders (the latter also suffering from a personal tragedy which kept him away from the team last week), but he's clearly earned his share of the Steelers starting rotation going forward.
Don't let that turn you off, either. When it comes to sharing receptions in the Steelers' high-octane passing game, that means the speedy Brown will feature prominently.
He had five catches on a team-high 11 targets for 109 yards in his team's Week 9 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and would have added a touchdown to that total if it weren't for Mike Wallace stepping in and grabbing the score.
On the season, Brown has 39 receptions for 540 yards and two touchdowns, and is also the main punt and kick returner (should your league count such things in scoring totals). He's fast, sure-handed and young, which makes him a prototypical Steelers receiver in the new, pass-heavy Roethlisberger era.
If Brown's available in your league and you're not yet sold on his fantasy value, then there's nothing I can do to help you. Otherwise, snag him now, start him this week and don't look back.
