NFL Power Rankings: Teams That Will Continue Downward Spiral in Week 10

A few teams that have been rated highly in the power rankings over the past few weeks lost on Sunday.

They are going to continue their downward slide in Week 10 and I predict these teams won’t return anywhere near the top of the power rankings during the remainder of the season.

Let’s take a look at these fast-fading teams.

Tampa Bay

After beating the New Orleans Saints earlier in the season, the Bucs fell this time in a game that was closer than the score indicated on Sunday.

Now they play a surging Houston team that could very possibly have Andre Johnson back along with Arian Foster playing out of his mind.

They then must play Green Bay the week after that and I see them easily losing their next two before getting a chance to grab a win against this next squad…

Tennessee

The Titans lost at home as a favorite to the Bengals on Sunday and that really hurt them going forward.

They are quickly fading from the AFC South contention, which was actually wide open for a time this season since Peyton Manning isn’t playing and the Colts are terrible.

They go up against Cam Newton and the Panthers who are coming off a bye and will be hungry to start winning more games after losing a ton of heartbreakers this season.

Tennessee then faces Atlanta in another tough matchup against the NFC South and it looks like they will have a rough couple of weeks ahead of them.

Kansas City

The Chiefs were the hottest team in football going into their Sunday matchup with Miami and then they got demolished.

Miami punished them, 31-3, and now they have to go against Tim Tebow and the Broncos who are heating up after beating Oakland.

After that game an angry Patriots team will smash them and it just isn’t looking good for the Chiefs anymore this year.
