Week 10 Waiver Wire: Revealing the NFL's Best-Kept Secrets

John RozumNov 7, 2011

Finding fantasy football gold this late in the season is nearly impossible. That said, sifting through numerous stats and matchups can land you the right player at this time of the year.

So to bring it home, here are four fantasy players revealed as the best-kept secrets, provided you're lucky enough that they're available.

Laurent Robinson: WR, Cowboys

According to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News, WR Miles Austin is expected to miss the rest of November:

"

"The receiver is expected to miss the next two to four weeks as he recovers from a pulled right hamstring."

"

That said, add Laurent Robinson as soon as you can because it's likely that he becomes the Cowboys' next big WR. On the year, Robinson has 368 yards on 24 catches in just six games.

So, if you're in the need of depth and talent, look no further than Mr. Robinson.

Anthony Fasano: TE, Dolphins

He may only have 190 yards on 12 receptions this season, but you can expect Miami TE Anthony Fasano to continue producing with Matt Moore under center.

Fasano leads the 'Fins in receiving TDs (three), and with Moore improving each game, it's only going to make his TE that much more valuable.

Fasano isn't a weekly starter, but he can get you solid points as he's a much better receiving threat than most defenses are lead to believe.

Jason Avant: WR, Eagles

Although he doesn't have any TDs this season, Eagles WR Jason Avant has tallied over 400 receiving yards and caught 31 passes.

He is obviously not more valuable than Jeremy Maclin or DeSean Jackson, but for as much as Philly throws the rock, Avant will most certainly get his numbers.

As long as the Eagles continue to be in close games, Michael Vick needs all his WRs to perform, and Avant is no exception.

Robbie Gould: K, Bears

Sure it's a kicker, but the kicking game can give you a big advantage in fantasy football, much like real football.

The Chicago Bears have an offense that can move the ball up and down the field at a methodic pace. However, their red-zone TD scoring percentage, which is at 50 percent, only ranks No. 18 in the NFL.

On the year, kicker Robbie Gould has made eight FGs inside of 30 yards and five from 40-plus yards. If you're unsatisfied with your kicker, Gould can be a solid addition to sneak you into the playoffs.
