NFL Power Rankings: Looking at the Worst Teams in Each Conference

In our Week 10 NFL power rankings, these teams stick out as the league's worst in each respective conference.

If it was ever in doubt (it wasn't) who the worst team in the NFL was, Week 9 proved it. The Colts were embarrassed again at home by the Atlanta Falcons, losing by 24 points and being out-gained by over 250 total yards.

During the game, television cameras showed a fan in Indy wearing a customizable No. 12 Colts jersey with the surname "Luck" on the back. Colts fans likely won't have to customize that look in a few months.

Miami Dolphins (1-7)

On Sunday, the Dolphins proved what we probably should have already gathered from them in 2011—they are bad, but they're not winless-bad.

Miami dismantled the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium by 28 points, showing that they can win four or five games this season. And who needs Andrew Luck when you have Matt Moore? Joking of course, but Moore did have the best game of his career with 244 yards and three scores.

NFC's Worst

St. Louis Rams (1-7)

Say what you want about playing on the road and all the injuries, but there was no excuse for the Rams to lose a game to any team quarterbacked by John Skelton.

We saw very clearly in Week 8 that this team has the capability of playing good football. In Sam Bradford's return to the lineup, they took another huge step backwards.

Arizona Cardinals (2-6)

Patrick Peterson's 99-yard punt return for a touchdown salvaged what was one of the worst games of the season in the NFL between the Cardinals and Rams.

The two teams combined to go 5-of-24 on third down, and neither offense could gain traction against the other's poor defense.

Washington Redskins (3-5)

Despite a 3-1 start, the Redskins absolutely belong in the discussion of the NFL's worst teams. There is absolutely no offense to speak of in the nation's capital and the defense just doesn't have enough to compensate.

In truth, it's hard to see a game on the Redskins remaining schedule that you can confidently say they'll win. With John Beck under center, they could be a 3-13 team.
