Vincent Jackson Video: Watch Philip Rivers Find Jackson All Alone in End Zone
If you're looking for a good word to describe today's game between the Green Bay Packers and San Diego Chargers, I recommend "shootout."
Though, I guess "barnburner" would also do the trick.
At any rate, one man largely responsible for the current state of things in San Diego is Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson. As he often does, Jackson is having a huge game. There is still time left on the clock in the fourth quarter, but Jackson already has seven catches for 141 yards and three touchdowns.

The last touchdown catch was a little too easy. If you missed it, feel free to watch it above.
As you will see, Philip Rivers barely got his pass away in time, but there was no doubt on the other end. Somehow, Jackson was several yards behind the defense and wide open in the end zone. He made the catch without difficulty, bringing the Chargers to within a touchdown at 45-38.
Exactly how Jackson got that wide open is beyond me. At 6'5'' and 230 pounds, he's a hard to guy to lose sight of, and he's also the kind of guy a defense should be focused on in pretty much every play.
So yeah, it's fair to say Green Bay's defense dropped the ball on this play. It's good thing they have Aaron Rodgers to help bail them out. All he's done in this game is complete 21 of 26 passes for 247 yards and four touchdowns.
Thanks to him, it looks like the Packers are about to go 8-0.
