Manny Pacquiao: Pac-Man Will Dominate Marquez in Third Bout

Austin GreenNov 6, 2011

The much-hyped fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez is almost upon us and I'm expecting Pac-Man to cruise to victory this Saturday.

The two fought to a draw in 2004 and Pacquiao won by split decision in 2008.

However, I'm expecting a dominant performance from Pacquiao the third time around. The Filipino legend has been training harder for this fight than any other previous match, leading me to believe that he's determined to knock Marquez out.

Pacquiao still hasn't forgiven him for his constant complaining after the second fight. Marquez even visited Pacquiao's native Philippines while wearing a t-shirt that said he got robbed by the judges.

This time around, Pacquiao isn't just motivated. He's pissed.

His conditioning coach Alex Ariza is saying that Pacquiao wants to be the same size he was when he beat Miguel Cotto in 2009, his last knockout.

"But Cotto was the equivalent of a linebacker and Marquez is a free safety," Ariza said.

"I think he just wants to kill Marquez."

Pacquiao's training approach should be absolutely terrifying for Marquez. Since their split decision bout in '08, Pacquiao has been on a rampage.

He knocked out four fighters in a row, then won his next three fights by unanimous decision.

Pacquiao has had to to endure numerous headaches over the past couple years, from Marquez's whining to the whole Floyd Mayweather fiasco.

I'm expecting Pac-Man to unload some accumulated stress on Nov. 12, by knocking out Marquez in the sixth round.
