2011 Breeders' Cup: Exotic Wagers Featuring LSU vs. Alabama on Saturday
Las Vegas sports books are always coming up with creative ways to increase wagering, and Caesars Entertainment has done just that for what's expected to be the busiest weekend of the year in Sin City.
The 2011 Breeders' Cup Classic has an expected post time of 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN from Churchill Downs, which is an hour before the Southeastern Conference showdown between the No. 1 LSU Tigers and No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide kickoff on CBS.
Caesars has a total of 14 proposition wagers ready to go that matches the horse that hits the wire first in the $5 million race for three-year-olds and up, with the eventual winner on the gridiron later in the evening.
The favored pairing features Uncle Mo joining forces with Alabama, currently providing bettors an opportunity to cash in at betting odds of +350.
If you like the three-year-old out of Indian Charlie, but want to play the underdog Tigers, the payoff jumps to +700.
Casual bettors will likely be drawn to pairing either team with Game on Dude, as the name certainly fits the occasion.
The four-year-old out of Awesome Gem has captured just one win in three tries at the one-and-one-fourth mile distance, while coming in off a half-length victory in the Grade I, Goodwood Stakes at Santa Anita on Oct. 1.
Whatever your pleasure, Caesars Entertainment is the place to be when expected field of 13 horses leave the gate Saturday.
