WWE: Why Kevin Nash vs. Triple H Is Destined to Happen
Kevin Nash and Triple H are two legends in the wrestling industry who have also been friends for years. They have found success together and apart, as both men began notable stables in competing companies.
Kevin Nash was one of the originators of the NWO, while Triple H started DX with Shawn Michaels. These two men were instrumental in the Monday night wars.
Eventually, WCW was bought out, and Kevin Nash made his way back to WWE, where he and Triple H were reunited.

Nash eventually left and spent some time in TNA before returning a few months ago to WWE. His first official appearance was during the 2011 Royal Rumble.
Now he and Triple H are embroiled in a feud where there is more at stake than just titles. These men are long time friends who now have a very heated rivalry.
After Nash cost Triple H and Punk their match at Vengeance, Triple H had seen enough. He called out Nash and demanded an explanation.
Instead, he received a sledge hammer to the spine for his troubles. The storyline angle is that Triple H suffered damage to his vertebrae and will be out for a few weeks.
This gives some time for Nash's true motives to be revealed, and I have a feeling I know what might end up happening.
It is quite clear that part of the angle is that Stephanie is somehow involved in all of this. I get the feeling that we will see an angle that has Stephanie turn on her husband.
Maybe it will have something to do with her siding with Vince in a power struggle for control over WWE with Triple H. Maybe it will have something to do with Kevin Nash wanting what Triple H has in terms of a corporate job.
What I do know for sure is that Nash and Triple H will have a match sometime down the line. It might happen at Survivor Series, maybe it will be TLC or possibly even the Royal Rumble.
Whatever the date is, there will be a Triple H and Kevin Nash showdown eventually. There is too much already happening in this angle not to.
The only bad part about this angle is that Nash can't perform at a high level anymore. He has suffered too many injuries and had too many surgeries to move around as quickly as he used to, which means this will likely be a street fight or a cage match.
Even though Nash is not in the best of shape, he and Triple H are both professionals who can put on a good show despite neither of them doing any high-risk moves.
The reason for this is because Triple H and Kevin Nash are storytellers in the ring. They have the mindset that in order for a match to be good, it has to have a story and not just a bunch of high spots and blood.
I think if the match happens at Survivor Series, then we will see some kind of no-holds-barred style match where someone like Miz or Truth interferes, causing the feud to extend into next year.
I just hope WWE doesn't use this as an opportunity to put Triple H over and bury Nash. The odds of Nash beating Triple H are slim, but that does not mean it can't be a good match.
