Texas A&M vs. Oklahoma: Spread Info, BCS Impact, Line and Prediction

Andrew KulhaNov 3, 2011

Even though the 5-3 Texas A&M Aggies have fallen out of the BCS Top 25, their matchup with the No. 6 Oklahoma Sooners is still huge.

The Sooners are still hurting from their loss to Texas Tech, and even though they won last week, they need to dispatch of a faulty A&M team to prove they still deserve to be in BCS championship talk.

The Aggies are having an extremely disappointing season filled with marquee losses, but a win over the Sooners would go a long way towards righting all of their wrongs and will let them leave the Big 12 on a big note.

Key Injuries:

Texas A&M: Wide receiver Jeff Fuller probable (toe), linebacker Garrick Williams probable (ankle), Kenric McNeal questionable (foot), defensive back Coryell Judie questionable (hamstring), linebacker Brandon Alexander questionable (elbow).

Keys to Texas A&M Win:

Senior quarterback Ryan Tannehill has to go on the road and lead his team to a very hard victory. That means he needs to protect the ball and not add to his seven interceptions on the season.

Keys to Oklahoma Win:

Quarterback Landry Jones is highly considered to be one of the best in the nation. He's got a chance to prove that he's a step above the rest with a decisive win here.

Prediction:

Oklahoma was overrated at the beginning of the season, but now they are underrated.
