NFL Picks Week 9: Teams That Will Win Shootouts
Here's a quick look at three NFL teams that will prevail this week despite the fact they are likely to give up multiple touchdowns.
New England Patriots
The New York Giants are finally starting to get all their defensive weapons back, but they made Matt Moore and Reggie Bush look decent last week.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I'm thinking that Tom Brady and company are a little better than Matt Moore and the Dolphins. They should be able to move the ball pretty easily at home against the Giants.
On the other side of the ball, Eli Manning has actually been quite good this season. He has an impressive QB rating of 102.1 and has already passed 2,000 yards on the year.
The Patriots pass defense hasn't been able to stop anyone, let alone a talent like Manning (yes, that didn't feel right typing that).
I'll give the advantage to New England at home, but there definitely be lots of scoring.
Green Bay Packers
Philip Rivers and the San Diego pass game has struggled this year, but I'm betting they can get it going at home against a Packers secondary that has given up a lot of big plays this season.
The Packers are giving up seven yards per pass attempt, which is eighth worst in the NFL.
Luckily for Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers is used to being in these types of games. No matter who he faces, Rodgers has the ability to light up the scoreboard and play keep-up.
I think this one ends up being closer than most people think, but Rodgers' late-game antics will help keep Green Bay undefeated.
New Orleans Saints
Yikes, even A.J Feeley was able to move the ball against this Saints defense. And on top of that, New Orleans is giving up 5.5 yards per carry, worst in the league.
Tampa Bay gets LeGarrette Blount back and should be able to move the ball easily against this defense.
Of course, Drew Brees and the Saints offense isn't too shabby itself. Tampa Bay is giving up 7.5 yards per attempt, second worst in the NFL, and Brees should get back on track after a stinker at St. Louis.
I'll take the home team in this one in what should be the highest scoring game of the week.
