Betting Line: According to Bodog.eu, Arkansas is favored by five points. Take Arkansas this weekend, as they have the better offense and will force South Carolina to play catch-up.

Who Might Not Play For South Carolina: DE Ethan Johnson, who missed three games with an ankle injury, may come back for this week’s game.

Who Might Not Play for Arkansas: WR Greg Childs did not play against Vanderbilt with a knee injury, but is expected back for the game this week.

Key Storyline: This is the second place game in the SEC this week, to the first place LSU Alabama game. The winner of this game will keep their stake as threats to a BCS game.

BCS Implications: For each team, a loss will almost end their chance to reach a BCS bowl game. South Carolina doesn’t have as much to lose, as they are still at the top of the SEC East division even with a loss.

South Carolina Player to Watch: WR Alshon Jeffery

Alshon Jeffery is the best player on the offensive side for South Carolina. He has to take over the game if this South Carolina team wants to pull off an upset on Saturday.

Arkansas Player to Watch: QB Tyler Wilson

Wilson has been a huge reason why Arkansas is 7-1 this year and still has a chance to win the SEC West division. A lot was expected of Wilson this year, and he has lived up to every expectation. This can be a huge statement game for Wilson if he goes off against Carolina.

Key Matchup: Arkansas QB Tyler Wilson vs. South Carolina’s pass rush

Wilson has taken over for Ryan Mallet as the leader of this Arkansas offense, and the offense is as good as it was when Mallet led the team.

If South Carolina wants to pull off the upset this weekend, they will have to put constant pressure on Wilson. Look for Carolina’s Devin Taylor and Jadeveon Clowney to try to get to Wilson and slow down his Arkansas offense.

Prediction: Arkansas 27, South Carolina 21
