LSU vs. Alabama: Last-Minute Spread Info, Line, BCS Impact and Predictions
This weekend's matchup between the BCS ranked No. 1 LSU Tigers and No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide is being heralded as potentially the best game we have seen in college football in a long time—and for very good reason.
Both teams are stacked with talent, and both have a legitimate shot at the 2011 BCS Championship.
What makes this game so good is the fact that one of these teams has to lose, and the loser will be at a severe disadvantage moving forward in the polls.
Both teams know what's at stake, and both teams have the firepower on both sides of the ball to keep us on the edge of our seats to the final whistle.
This is truly a clash of the Titans, and it will undoubtedly be the college football game of the year.

Key Injuries: There is no major injury news for either team. They are both coming into this game relatively healthy.
BCS/Top 25 Poll Implications:
Simply put, this game means everything. The No. 1 spot in the nation is on the line, as is a clear shot to the BCS championship.
Keys to LSU Win:
Quarterback Jarrett Lee is playing in arguably the biggest game of his life. He is known as a great game manager and has done an exceptional job leading the team so far. He needs to continue doing just that and play within himself. Leadership is going to be the key to this game.
Keys to Alabama Win:
Trent Richardson is easily the most dominant player on the field, and that's saying a lot. He's explosive in the run and pass game, and he may be talented enough to dupe this great LSU defense once or twice. He's not going to get the looks he normally does, so he's going to have to take advantage of every available inch.
Prediction:
This really is the game of the year. I think LSU's experience in big games is going to be the key to a close victory.
