Stanford vs. Oregon State: Spread Info, Line, BCS Impact and Predictions
Stanford's closest shave of the year once again came courtesy of USC, but they have no time waste dwelling on it as they get ready take on Oregon State in Corvallis.
Although the Beavers have fallen on pretty hard times, traveling to Reser Stadium is never easy.
At 2-6, Oregon State doesn't stand much of a chance against the Pac-12 powerhouse.
Stanford continues rolling toward their ultimate goal of a national championship and this just happens to be the next road block.
If for nothing else, watch to see what Andrew Luck does this week as NFL teams continue to fawn over him.

BCS/Top 25 Poll Implications
Oregon State obviously has no impact on the rankings, but every game from here on out is crucial for the Cardinal. They still need an SEC or Big 12 team to fall before they get a crack at the national championship, and that would net them a battle for one spot with likely unbeaten Boise State.
The more blowouts Stanford adds to their resume, the better it looks.
A loss would, naturally, be crippling.
Key to Stanford Win
Running the football. It is strange to think that the best quarterback in the nation needs a run game, but it has how Stanford wins ball games.
The Cardinal rushed for only 3.9 yards per carry in the win over USC. They ran the ball 48 times but couldn't break the 200-yard mark.
Luck threw the ball a season-high 40 times as well.
Expect the Cardinal to get back to doing what they do.
Key to Oregon State Win
Force turnovers. The only way the Beavers have any chance in a game like this by doing the one thing that Stanford doesn't do: turnovers.
Things could get ugly quickly in Corvallis if the Beavers can't force any mistakes.
It is highly unlikely they find a way to win this football game without getting lucky.
Prediction: Stanford 48, Oregon State 10
