New York Jets Video: Watch Mark Sanchez Get Immortalized in New Anthem
Has there ever been a player do less and get more publicity out of it than New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez?
The latest declaration of love for the mediocre—and that is being kind—Sanchez is a rap song by ADAMAZ titled, "Do the Mark Sanchez." The song is actually about the Jets as a whole, but they singled the quarterback out in the title for reasons unknown.
There doesn't appear to be any specific move that is "The Mark Sanchez." Certainly, it does not compare to doing your best Jagger impression.

I will admit that I was disappointed with the video when I first watched it. I saw the title and was hoping it would be a sarcastic critique of Sanchez's performance. I wanted to see shots of him throwing an interception or overthrowing a wide-open receiver down the field.
That would have been more entertaining to me, but I am not a Jets fan so I can't speak to how much the people in New York love him.
As far as anthem songs go, this is hardly the worst one that I have heard. It doesn't come close to approaching "I Love My Ducks" by Supwitchugirl, but it is catchy in its own right.
Sanchez has a lot of pressure on his shoulders these days, with the Jets being 4-3 and getting ready to take on AFC East rival Buffalo this week, so maybe he could use this song as a pick-me-up if and when life gets too hard for him.
Perhaps Fireman Ed can start including this song in his rally cry at Jets games every week. He could just do a quick "J-E-T-S, JETS! JETS! JETS!" and follow it up with a rendition of "Do the Mark Sanchez."
Hopefully, Sanchez has a good game this week, not just because the team needs it, but to justify the hype of having his name in the title of the Jets rally song.
