Santino Marella Has Comically Revealed His New Finisher

As many are aware, Santino Marella is, well, kind of weird. He is very funny though. Pretty much everything he does or says is just hilarious. Sometimes you have no idea why you are laughing, but it is just so funny.

He has come a long way since his debut a little over a year ago. We first saw him win the Intercontinental Championship from Umaga with, of course, a little help from Bobby Lashley in the WWE's tour in Europe.

He was then part of the WWE family and then we see him as this Italian ladies man when he gets Maria to be his girlfriend. Suddenly he loses the IC to Umaga, and we don't see him for a few weeks.

All the sudden this new Santino we see today appears—basically a comic relief guy that everyone loves. I personally record RAW every week just to make sure I don't miss what Santino has to say.

As we know, he has a way about him on TV, but does he off camera? In an interview Santino talked about his new finisher and more. Here it is:

"Santino Marella has come up with a new finishing move. Only problem is he hasn't perfected the move to be able to utilize it on opponents.

Apparently in character, but with it never really being clear with Santino because he is Santino, he says the name of the finisher is the "Maserati Clutch."

"If this move is used, it guarantees victory," Santino told Michael Machosky in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "But it's still in the works. I did try it on one person. He now walks with a cane. I have not yet tried it in the ring, but when I do, you will know."

Santino was then apparently taken aback by the label of a wrestler people love to hate. He explained further.

"That's a scary comment. I'm just being me," he said. "I don't know—my father used to tell me that my face was 'so slappable.' You just want to slap it. Maybe that's the same thing—they love to hit me."

Once again Santino says something that makes you wonder, yet smile at the same time. I just want to know how creative thought about Santino's character.

I mean, it is probably one of the best executed characters in the WWE right now. The funny Italian has never been a part of the WWE until Santino. Considered WWE's funniest man of the year, Santino has lived up to it on TV or not.

I still search YouTube for the time he tried Melina's entrance, or the rap he did on RAW to William Regal asking for a IC Title shot: "You're not in a restaurant, Mr. Regal, but you just got served."

So funny, but I really want to see Santino No. 1, win a match, and No. 2, I want to see that new finisher he has.
