Week 9 Fantasy Football Start Em Sit Em: Eli Manning and QBs Sure to Dominate
Everybody knows that the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Drew Brees are likely going to put up big numbers on a weekly basis, but after that it can be a bit of a crapshoot. With such an emphasis now on the passing game, however, almost any signal caller is capable of having a monster performance.
Not every fantasy owner is blessed with a sure thing at quarterback, so playing matchups tends to be their best option at the position. Here are three quarterbacks that will be able to take advantage of delightful matchups and will dominate in Week 9.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Sam Bradford - St. Louis Rams
Starting a quarterback that is coming off a high ankle sprain and wasn't all that effective prior to the injury is risky business, but there is reason to believe in St. Louis Rams trigger man Sam Bradford. If Bradford regresses and is unable to play on Sunday then all this goes out the window, but if he remains on track, then he should be able to exploit the Arizona Cardinals.
The Rams recommitted to Steven Jackson and the running game with A.J. Feeley under center last week and that, in and of itself, should help open up the passing game even more. Bradford hasn't been able to get properly acquainted with wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, but he should be open all day long and I expect Bradford to find him en route to his best game of the season.
Matt Cassel - Kansas City Chiefs
Since a rough start to the 2011 season, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel has settled in as the Chiefs as a whole have won four consecutive games. Cassel is certainly a bit inconsistent, but when given the right matchup, he has the ability to put up massive numbers.
Cassel will have such an opportunity this week as the Chiefs host the winless Miami Dolphins. Miami has one of the worst pass defenses in the league and will likely struggle to cover Kansas City's impressive triumvirate of receivers. Even if the Dolphins are able to contain Dwayne Bowe, rookie Jon Baldwin burst onto the scene last week and Steve Breaston is a great target out of the slot. Whatever the case, Cassel should have open receivers on most plays and that should lead to a nice game.
Eli Manning - New York Giants
While New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has developed into an every-week starter by most standards by virtue of his 2,127 passing yards and 13 touchdowns, he wasn't considered to be prior to the season. Because of that, many fantasy teams may employ him as little more than a high-quality backup at this point.
Unless he is behind Rodgers, Brady or Brees on your depth chart, though, I would highly suggest starting him this weekend. Not only has Manning thrown for at least 292 yards in four consecutive games, but he also has five multi-touchdown performances. If that wasn't reason enough to start him, Manning is facing the New England Patriots' league-worst pass defense. The Pittsburgh Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger tore apart the Patriots last week, and I expect Eli to do something similar.
