Lenny Dykstra: Fight Against Jose Canseco Is More Pathetic Than Entertaining

Lenny Dykstra and Jose Canseco are finally going to settle some beef that stems back from when Canseco alleged that Dykstra used steroids.

This has driven Dykstra to box Jose in a "celebrity" (and I stretch that term as far as the it possibly can go) match for FilmOn.com.

According to the official press release,

Alki David, founder and CEO of FilmOn.com Networks, announced today that he has approved the last minute change in the upcoming title fight between controversial baseball player Jose Canseco and Tareq Salahi, the White House Party Crasher.

"Canseco ruined my career by spreading lies. I called Tareq and begged him to let me take his place in the upcoming fight against Canseco," said Dykstra in a statement.

This is just the latest sad and pathetic venture for the troubled Dykstra, who has hit lows by selling his 1986 World Series ring, charged with grand theft auto, embezzlement, drug use and possession as well as exposing himself to a housekeeper in an inappropriate manner.

The guy has obvious problems and many people could clearly see that after he was profiled by HBO Sports and just appeared to be a delusional, damaged wreck of a human being.

This fight will just be another joke of a bout between Canseco and some fading "celebrity" as he has already gone up against Danny Bonaduce, Vai Sikahema and other bums.

Instead of spending more time in the "spotlight" with other "celebrities" like Michael Lohan, Kato Kaelin, Coolio, Joey Buttafuoco, Amy Fisher and Octomom, Dykstra and Canseco need to start cleaning up their personal lives.

These people are absolute train wrecks and need to seek professional help because they have hit rock bottom.

Earning a measly paycheck to be broadcast to a few people and made fun of for a few days isn’t going to help repair their lives.

I hope things work out for these once-great baseball stars, but right now they cannot sink any lower.
