Oregon vs. Washington: TV Schedule, Radio, Game Time and More

Richard LangfordNov 1, 2011

Oregon will roll into Washington to ignite one of the Pac-12's best rivalries.

The No. 8 Ducks have had their way with the Huskies recently, and they will look to handle Washington and keep their national title hopes alive.

This Husky team is better than they have been for years. They have a high powered offense and will not roll over easily.

BCS/Top 25 Poll Implications

With undefeated teams dropping by the wayside, Oregon has reentered the national championship picture. If they want to reach this goal they cannot afford another loss.

Meanwhile, the Huskies made their 2011 Top 25 debut, and were promptly crushed by Stanford. If they can pull off the upset here they would likely reenter the rankings.

Key Storyline: Can Oregon avoid failing in a trap game?

Oregon will make the trip to Washington to take on a team they have been able to handle easily in recent seasons.

And they do this with a huge game against Stanford the following week.

This Husky team is better than they have been, and if Oregon doesn't focus on this game they will find themselves in trouble.

What They're Saying: LaMichael James made his return from injury last week, and he is apparently now back to 100 percent. Oregonlive.com expands on this:

"

James dislocated the elbow in the Ducks' Oct. 6 game with California.

The 2010 Doak Walker Award winner played last week for the first time since the injury. Wearing a brace over the elbow, James carried 13 times for 53 yards.

"I'm 100 percent," James said while meeting with reporters following Oregon's closed practice. "I'm feeling good."

"

Player to Watch for Oregon: RB LaMichael James

As was just mentioned James is returning to health from a dislocated elbow injury. James is one of the most dynamic backs in the country, and he is always a joy to watch.

He will be especially interesting to watch as we look to see if he suffering any ill-effects from the injury.

Player to Watch Washington: QB Keith Price

Sophomore QB Price is quietly putting together a tremendous season. He is completing 66.5 percent of his passes for 1990 yards with 23 touchdowns and just eight interceptions.

Price will have to elevate his game even higher if the Huskies are going to have a chance in this one.

Key Matchup: LaMichael James vs. Washington Defense

The Huskies defense has been the weakness of this team. The majority of those woes have started with the pass defense, but the run defense has seen its struggles as well. They are allowing opponents to run for 4.43 yards per carry.

They will have their hands full in this one as they try to contain LaMichael James and the high powered Ducks rushing attack.

Prediction: Oregon 47, Washington 31

Washington has the offensive fire power to hang with Oregon, however, Oregon will wear them down and control this game in the second half with their running game.
