Who Might Not Play For Houston: WR Tyron Carrier is dealing with a leg injury, but has not kept him out of action. Houston may want to rest the speedy receiver this week against a weaker opponent.
Who Might Not Play for UAB: QB Brian Ellis still has a wrist injury that will sideline him for the year.
Can Houston QB Case Keenum throw for more than nine touchdowns? He threw for that many against Rice last week.
For Houston, they will win this game easily, and will continue to rise up the BCS standings. They may crack the Top 10 with a win that sees Houston hang 80 on the Blazers.
Houston Player to Watch: QB Case Keenum
Like we said earlier, he threw for nine touchdowns last week. He may throw for 19 on Saturday night.
UAB Player to Watch: QB Jonathan Perry
Perry has had a good year for the Blazers, as he has started the last two games, throwing for more than 200 yards in each game.
Key Matchup: Houston’s QB Case Keenum vs. the UAB secondary.
Case will throw for another ridiculous amount of touchdown passes this week and may go over the 600-yard passing mark. Watch out NCAA record books because Case is about to break a few more single-game records on Saturday.
Prediction: Houston 70, UAB 24
