Week 9 Waiver Wire: Players You Must Grab Before Opponents Wise Up
We're pretty well into the season which means that solid waiver wire pickups are hard to find. Luckily for you, I'm here to give you a few guys you need to pick up right away before the other people in your league snag them.
The Oakland Raiders have leaned heavily on their running game so far this season, but now they may be without star running back Darren McFadden in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos. McFadden has a mid-foot sprain and is not guaranteed to suit up against the Broncos.
That means you should grab backup Michael Bush immediately. Bush currently has 237 yards and three touchdowns on 60 carries, while adding 111 yards on 11 catches. Considering that he's a backup, those are great numbers.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
After McFadden left with his injury in Week 7, Bush rushed for 99 yards on 17 carries, while adding two catches for 12 yards. If their star back is out, expect the Raiders and their second-ranked rushing attack (averaging 159.3 yards per game) to lean heavily on Bush.
If he is available in your league grab him without hesitation.
The Tennessee Titans handed running back Chris Johnson a six-year, $55.26 million contract during the preseason, but now he may not even get the majority of the carries out of the team's backfield. Backup Javon Ringer replaced Johnson on Sunday and he finished the team's 27-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts with 102 yards on 19 touches, while Johnson had just 51 yards on 17 touches.
Ringer played almost all of the team's fourth quarter snaps in Week 8, and coach Mike Munchak said the Titans would use a running back by committee approach moving forward, even though Johnson will remain the starter.
Johnson is averaging a paltry 2.8 yards per carry this season and Ringer has shown great burst in his limited touches. Give him a shot, add him to your roster as a reserve just in case he starts to rack up more points. He could end up being a steal.
