WWE: Are There Too Few Divas in the Division for It to Be Exciting?

Halloween 2011 is in the history books, and November is upon us...the month of the dead.

Funny as that may sound, it feels like that's what is left for us to think about the WWE Divas division at this point: dead or dying or in incredible pain.

It's no laughing matter!

Last night's RAW edition featured our favorite ladies all costumed up and "battle-royaling" for a shot at Queen Beth Phoenix's Divas championship. It is painfully obvious not many people behind the scenes care about them, if they did then why make them appear on television like that?

Are we supposed to be entertained by all this? Is Eve Torres becoming the No. 1 contender exciting to you?

I wasn't thrilled at all. I wanted Tamina to win this one,  or at least Natalya, so we can actually have a twist in the Sisters of Destruction arc that has been going on since the summer.

There is so much potential there. I don't understand what is going on in the minds of the powers that be. Just give them the time to shine properly for Heaven' sake and stop hiring models. There are too few actual athletes right now and letting go of Mickie James, Melina, Gail Kim and Maryse was a terrible mistake.

Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox and the Bellas are models! I don't want to see too much of them unless they really put on a good wrestling match.

Torres versus Beth Phoenix at Vengeance was a decent match. The girls can dish it out in the ring, but so little was invested in Torres to make me care about her. I think she has what it takes and her Wonder Woman ring gear is fantastic...but why don't I care more about her?

***On a side note: Did you see who was in the ring during the battle-royal last night? We had Torres, Kelly, Mendes, AJ Lee, Kaitlyn, The Bellas, Tamina, Natalya and Alicia Fox.

That's it? What happened to the competition? There are so few Divas right now it is absolutely shocking.

I just hope Michelle McCool returns for a while—or better yet, Kharma visiting us via satellite or something to give Beth a real challenge. 

Now THAT would be exciting.

We can't give up on them, though. They have their place in the WWE and we should support them. The Glamazon/Wonder Woman program could be good if done right. If I was Eve, I would sit down with Beth behind the scene and plan something so awesome it would make Trish and Lita jealous.

Speaking of which, when are we going to see those two legends again? S.O.S ladies...we need you!

Hmm, I just had a thought...why don't they all ban together and start taking over things—with hostility!

NWO would stand for New Women's Order...that would work for me.
