Kim Kardashian and Tony La Russa Are Done! One Divorces While the Other Retires

Kim Kardashian will soon be available again for any man. Tony La Russa will also soon be available for any major league baseball team.

Indeed, E! has reported that Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humphries. A few hours earlier, ESPN had released that Tony La Russa was retiring.

The St. Louis Cardinals now need a new coach. La Russa will be hard to replace. On the other hand, Kris Humphries probably needs a new lawyer!

Which Relationship Has Been the Most Successful?

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have been married for a grand total of 72 days. On the other hand, Tony La Russa and the Cardinals have been together since October of 1995.

Kardashian had a great wedding televised on E!. On the other hand, La Russa had two World Series wins on national television and two World Series parades.

La Russa coached 1,408 games with the Cardinals. He won two World Series and won pennants in  2004, 2006 and 2011. In 16 seasons, La Russa brought the Cardinals to the postseason nine times. On the other hand, Kardashian and Humphries didn’t achieve much in the past 72 days. Unless we learn that Ms. Kardashian is pregnant, nothing is on their achievement list.

La Russa is the first-ever coach to leave as a World Series champion. He had a magical season in 2011. He seemed happy with his decision and he is going home to his family. On the other hand, Kardashian and Humphries are divorcing because of irreconcilable differences. La Russa’s ending is much more on a positive note.

Reggie Bush Must Be a Happy Man

Reggie Bush rushed for over 100 yards in yesterday’s loss to the New York Giants. Believe it or not, the former Heisman winner had only rushed for one 100-yard game prior to this one.

I believe that Bush was feeling good about that one. Once he woke up this morning, he could also see that his ex had filed for divorce! Will Bush try to get her back? I think that baseball players or hockey players have more of a chance.

Kardashian dated Reggie Bush, a star football running back, for about three years. She then moved on for a brief relationship with the famous soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo. Kardashian finally ended up by marrying a basketball player, Kris Humphries.

After 72 days, the perfect marriage is now over. Will Kardashian keep dating athletes? It is probable! I’m sure that you can’t wait to see who’s the new lucky guy.

As for Tony La Russa, he clearly stated that he will never coach again. At 67, he believes that his time is now done. However, he didn’t close the door for any other baseball position on a team. While you probably won’t see him come pinch-hitting for any team, he could be a consultant or recruiter. However, my guess is that La Russa will take some years off before.
