B/R Wrestling Awards & Predictions

With our humble community leader Ron Johnson handing out B/R hardware this year for every award known to man, I decided to give out my predictions for a few.

The things our B/R awards have that is different from the Slammy's of the WWE is that you the fans get to vote for what you think is the best choice. For example you could vote for me for the B/R Writer of the Year.

Just throwing it out there of course. But here are my predictions.

Couple of the Year:

Glamerella. The B/R wrestling section loves Santino and with him being in the category he is most likely going to win.

Superstar of the Year:

Jeff Hardy. Once again we are kind of bias on B/R. One thing we agree on is that Hardy should be the WWE Champion. He could also be superstar of the year since we all love him.

It might be wrong but it's true, Hardy should be a shoe end to me.

Heel of the Year

Randy Orton. He has done the best job in the WWE for a while now. Unlike Edge he has won his titles pretty fairly and nothing has been handed to him. Edge has done the heel thing well but it is unlikely B/R will give him the award.

B/R absolutely loves Orton and there is a pretty good chance that Orton will win.

Diva of the Year

Beth Phoenix. When it comes to diva of the year B/R is fair. We may judge them a little less, but they are still a popular topic to bring up in an article. Most think that Phoenix is the best choice and so do I.

She had the best year of any diva and deserves the award. I have no idea why Ron named Melina in the nominations though. But she is going to lose anyway.

B/R Wrestling Writer of the Year

The award that many would love to receive and some just love, is the B/R wrestling writer of the year. Ron has named a few writers in the category and I happen to be one of them.

The front runners look to be between Ross and Shane Howard. With Ross leading by a small margin last time I checked. Both have done a great job on B/R. Shane has done well with his creativity in his articles.

And Ross has always been Mr. Consistency every story. I know he gets tired of hearing that but it is true. I have not got that much in the poll so far myself. So it looks like I will end up in third.

I think it is pretty respectable. But I believe the winner will be Ross. People seem to like him and he will receive the fans votes. But Shane is not far behind as he was winning the poll at one time.

Shane could come from behind and win, or maybe we could see a surprise winner, who knows? But I think it is Ross' award to lose.
