NFL Power Rankings: Pittsburgh Steelers and Teams That Proved Their Worth
Remember when the Pittsburgh Steelers were considered too old and had problems with the offensive line?
Kinda sounds like 2010, doesn't it?
Well, the same "problems" have arisen in 2011, and the Steelers responded by defeating the New England Patriots in Week 8 of the NFL season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Because with the Steelers, a Super Bowl appears more likely as the season progresses.
Here are three teams that proved their worth in Week 8.
3. Buffalo Bills (5-2)
The Bills faced a stumbling Washington Redskins team that featured John Beck under center in Week 8, but a 23-0 shutout is nonetheless impressive.
The once-silent pass-rush exploded on Sunday, notching nine sacks including 2.5 from rookie defensive tackle Marcell Dareus. Running back Fred Jackson continued to prove he's a star. And quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, fresh off a big contract, tossed for 263 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
If the Bills defense makes leaps like this every week, all my doubts about this team will evaporate.
2. Houston Texans (5-3)
The Texans didn't exactly face a world-beater in the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8, but the Jaguars had just defeated the Baltimore Ravens and are an improving team.
The Texans have bounced back after two straight losses to the Ravens and Oakland Raiders, and star running back Arian Foster is far removed from his early-season struggles.
Even without star receiver Andre Johnson, the Texans are winning with their running game and a defense that is starting to come into its own after limiting the Tennessee Titans to seven points in Week 7.
1. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2)
After defeating the powerhouse that is the New England Patriots on Sunday 25-17, the Steelers are back to playing dominant football.
They've found their passing game, rushing game and defense, and that's bad news for the rest of the league.
The Steelers showed us last season that they have a way of overcoming their deficiencies. We know better than to doubt them this season.
I expect the Steelers to beat the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9.
