WWE News: WWE Legend Jacques "the Mountie" Rougeau Fighting Prostate Cancer
Jaques Rougeau, famous for his Mountie heel character, has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, according to WrestlingInc.com.
From WrestlingInc:
"Rougeau, who is 51 years old, was diagnosed with the disease after undergoing tests but is undergoing further testing to reaffirm the diagnosis.
Québec Hebdo reports his prostate was "the size of a grapefruit" and that his family has history with the disease. Rougeau, however, has also had problems with kidney stones, which could also be a contributing factor to the state of his prostate.

Rougeau had a pretty storied career with the then-WWF. Prior to his singles run, he was one half of the Rougeau Brothers. After his partner and real life brother Ray Rougeau retired, Jaques found some mid-card success in the WWF as the Mountie.
The Mountie was managed by Jimmy Hart and held the once coveted Intercontinental Championship for a record setting two days. According to WWE.com, the record was obviously the shortest reign of the titles history.
This record still stands.
Once his solo days started coming to an end he formed a new tag-team called the Quebecers; this would end up being his most successful WWE run.
The Quebecers held the WWE tag titles three times, beating the Steiner Brothers, Men on a Mission and Marty Jannetty and the 1,2,3, Kid.
WWE.com recently did a "Where Are They Now?" article on Rougeau and disscussed his current passions including his wrestling school.
Hopefully, Rougeau can win this battle and move on with his life.
