Trish Stratus Returning to the WWE?

Any long time wrestling fan knows who Trish Status is. She debuted in the late 1990's with Test and Albert and became a hot girl next door that you looked out the window for everyday.

I kind of relate her to today's Kelly Kelly. But anyway, Trish joined the WWE Universe few weeks back. And like many do who join it and are not active wrestlers at the time, at least make an appearance.

Alicia the wedding planner did and many who have many who have made special appearances over the last year have. Mainly to blog on the site about special events.

Some may not know that Stratus is in her own TV Series, Stratusphere, where she goes to different countries to see culture and other things. As a matter of fact it was picked up for another season recently on Discovery.

It was mainly seen in Canada and America hardly ever saw it, but it supposed to be able to be seen in the US this coming season.

But I found out about Trish possibly returning and wondered what I could find about it. So I looked and found this bit of information:

"Stratus returned to the WWE world a few weeks ago when she was profiled on WWE's website and said she would be open to a one-off return to the ring to handle Smackdown diva Natalya.

The return is becoming more of a probability, especially with WWE running a joint Raw and Smackdown Supershow TV taping in Toronto next Monday, Dec. 22.

WWE Smackdown broadcaster Jim Ross suggested a Stratus return could be in the works for the Toronto taping.

The big Supershow in Toronto on December 22 is not sold out yet, but it is  'this close.' This is a huge, double header where fans can see a live Raw and Friday Night Smackdown be taped," Ross said on jrsbarbq.com.

"Could we get treated to a 'Trish Stratus sighting?' I can only hope."

Meanwhile, Smackdown diva Natalya responded to Trish Stratus' comments in her latest blog on WWE Universe. Natalya was in character promising to take out Stratus if she showed up in WWE again, but she also talked about her dream of facing Stratus.

"I actually am coming out in the open to say that from the very beginning of my career; from when I first stepped foot in the dungeon, I always had a dream of wrestling Trish Stratus," Natalya said.

"I kept that vision with me for years. What a perfect opponent Trish would have made to test me to my limits. ... We have similar parallels, too."

"Both of us being fierce, aggressive, driven, and Canadian. Even my family  has a deep respect for Trish Stratus."

Natalya wrote about resentment that Stratus retired from wrestling before they had a chance to wrestle, but she would still welcome Stratus back to WWE in Toronto with "no hard feelings."

"I'd personally love to see Stratus back in the WWE soon. Considering she is taking time off from her show and it is in Toronto, there is a huge chance it could happen."

Plus it works out great considering Natalya is Canadian as well as Trish. We have not seen Trish Stratus in competition with the WWE for about three years now. However, she was back for RAW's anniversary, and at the next show in Canada.

She is always around during the Canadian shows and there is no doubt she is still in shape and could fit it in to her schedule. I see it happening, but it is only my personal opinion.

And Jim Ross believes it too, and he is well known for giving out information that gives the fans a heads up before it happens. He just puts it to where he really is not saying yes or no, of course.
