The Rock Returning to WWE: Top 5 Possible Outcomes to Tomorrow Night's Raw
WWE Raw on Monday night is going to be a very memorable show. The world will finally get to know whether The Rock will team up with John Cena at Survivor Series or not.
It may seem like a cut-and-dry situation, but is it really? There are tons of ways WWE could go with this. On SmackDown, it was announced that this question would be answered in the opening segment Monday night.
With that being said, let's dive into a few possible ways The Rock could appear.
5. Long Promo to Open the Show
1 of 5There is some confusion as to whether The Rock will appear live in the arena or not. For this scenario, he would be appearing live in person. The show starts with The Rock's music. He comes out, cuts a long promo, insults Miz and Truth, before saying "yes" to teaming with Cena at Survivor Series.
Then he leaves. It sounds like nearly every other promo from The Rock for the past 10 years. Could it happen? Yes. Will it happen? Maybe, but I am putting this one as a long shot.
4. No Rock
2 of 5The Rock is a busy man. I am not saying he will "no show" and leave WWE high and dry. The Rock is too much of a professional to do that. However, a change in plans very easily could occur. A technical difficulty? A change to next week's show? Perhaps storyline plans will change by Monday.
I have no idea. I am just throwing the idea out there. Again, it is a long shot, but it may be best for The Rock to make ZERO appearance Monday. Maybe have Cena speak for him?
3. Rock and Cena Promo to End Raw
3 of 5Now we are talking! Again, WWE announced on SmackDown that The Rock would answer in the opening segment. However, we all know the big moments close Raw (most of the time), not begin Raw.
In this case, Cena could open the show (as advertised), but talk about The Rock not being there yet. That makes viewers stay tuned all night. Of course, he appears at the end to accept the match.
2. Miz and Truth Dress Up as Cena and Rock
4 of 5This one could be fun. How about The Rock declines the invite? How about The Miz and R-Truth coming out to mock John Cena on being "alone" now?
That could make for some great fun. Rocky turns down Cena, and Awesome Truth lays the boots to Cena. Yes, the music of The Great One hits for him to make the save in the end. Rocky declining is not even a realistic option at this point.
How WWE gets to Survivor Series is the real story. That leads me to my No. 1 choice as to what The Rock will do Monday night on Raw...
1. Rock Speaks Via Satellite
5 of 5Yes, I see Rocky appearing via satellite. I could be wrong here, but I really like the idea of limiting The Rock's actual "in person" shows. I do not want him in the middle of the ring every week. I really don't.
A promo from the big screen is perfectly acceptable, He will be live in person on WWE Raw in two weeks anyways. Again, there in no need for him to appear live this Monday.
Have him cut an epic promo about beating Awesome Truth at the PPV show. Then Miz and Truth could call him a coward for a week or two. Of course, Cena then announces Rock WILL be at the Raw show before Survivor Series.
BOOM! We have an amazing "showdown" with four great promo men six days before their match!
