Dolph Ziggler, the current US Champion, has continued to evolve over the last couple of months. Ziggler has become a better overall superstar, and his star is shining as bright as it ever has.

Now this star is ready for the next level. Dolph Ziggler has all the traits necessary to make him a main eventer in the WWE. So what exactly makes him main event material? Let's take a look.

If the WWE places you with Vickie Guerrero, then you are destined to have a great career. If you have Vickie Guerrero by your side and you don't go anywhere in the WWE, then that's on you (Eric Escobar).

Even though Edge already had a great career, his time with Vickie excelled it. Now Vickie is doing the same with Dolph Ziggler's career.

Guerrero draws heat well from the crowd, and that heat has allowed Dolph to get over further as a heel.

9. Mic Skills

Dolph Ziggler gets better on the mic with every promo that he cuts. As you can tell from his recent promos, he adds intensity now when he speaks, making you believe what he is saying.

He can tell a story on the mic, which all the greats can do.

Those were words spoken by the Great One on from his taped video appearance on the tenth anniversary episode of SmackDown. 

Whoever game him the name of "Dolph Ziggler" must have thought he wouldn't make it far in the business. If you can still stick around and continue to elevate the way Ziggler has with a name like that, then I think you can main event.

7. Charisma

Dolph Ziggler is as charismatic a superstar there is in the WWE today. In order to succeed in the industry you have to be able to appeal to the fans, it's not just about in-ring skills (which I'll get to in a moment).

Ziggler makes the crowd love to hate him with just how arrogant he is. He also doesn't hesitate to let you know just how good he is.

6. In-Ring Ability

Ziggler is one of the best superstars in the ring. He can tell a story in the ring and compete with just about anyone, just look at his match last Friday on SmackDown with Randy Orton.

Ziggler is in a rare list of stars that can make any superstar look good. He made Mason Ryan look pretty good in the ring a few weeks ago on Raw, despite how green he is.

Dolph Ziggler also has a number of great matches to his credit. His series of matches with Daniel Bryan and his matches earlier this year with Edge are just a couple examples of that.

Ziggler also has a great moveset with good finishers in the Zig-Zag and the sleeper hold.

Dolph Ziggler is a former Intercontinental Champion, current US Champion and a former World Heavyweight Champion (albeit for a couple hours).

Ziggler already has some accolades to bolster his career, and now a regular in the main event scene is the next one for him to achieve. Ziggler actually deserves a legitimate reign as a World Champion.

This is not always an important factor when it comes to main eventing, but it certainly can't hurt. Ziggler is in great physical shape and we all know that Vince loves superstars that are big or have great looks.

Dolph Ziggler is the art of perfection. From his, in-ring ability to his mic skills, Ziggler is the complete package.

Ziggler has a great gimmick that fits him perfectly: an arrogant heel concerned with his looks, who thinks he is better than everybody. Quite frankly, he is one of the best today.

Ziggler is comfortable in his gimmick and he makes the fans want to hate him. Some of the best gimmicks are the ones that actually fit someone's personality.

Ziggler's gimmick fits him, he took his gimmick from day one and ran with it.

Dolph Ziggler has "it". Whatever the "it" factor is, he has it. You cannot really put a definition on the "it" factor, but either someone has it or they don't.

One can tell if somebody has "it", and Dolph Ziggler does. He walks with confidence and he was just made to be a WWE Superstar. As I alluded to earlier, Ziggler is the complete package.
